The darling child of nature

How enthralling sights,
dressed with greenery,
adorns the nature,
looks fairy.

How cool and comfort
fresh in feeling,
in abundant sunshine
with breeze blowing.

How impressing the lights and shades
to the land in moonlit
and pitch-dark night,
with cloudy sky, black or white.

How violet the rainfall,
with flashes of lightning,
and roars of thunder,
the low-lying lands look
like a vast sheet of water.

How amusing the ripen crops
shines in golden hue,
lying in the field,
present a panoramic view.

How pleasant the scenic picture,
seems to be a box of flowers,
sweet fragnant comes out
and diffuses in everywhere.

How charming all arround,
the grasses with dew fall
and morning sun on it;
appear the beauty of diamond.

How fascinating glimmer of jonaki
on bamboo cluster,
seems to be a dreamland,
at night, to the on-looker.

How fantastic the chirping of birds
in the morning,
brilliant sunrays of glow
of the sun setting,
the moon with her balmy flood of light,
and numerous twinkling stars at night.

How kind the Nature,
bestowed so much beauty,
full-filled in the richness and variety.
Oh! my country,
my beloved Bangladesh,
the darling chlld of nature,
a land of eternal verdure.
